We are a veteran-owned and operated cattle ranch, where strong traditional values guide everything we do. We take pride in the stewardship of our cattle and the land they graze on. We use regenerative ranching as an innovative approach to beef cattle grazing. This emphasizes sustainability and environmental health, while providing the best nutrition for our cattle. The Rosa Family
Our story
The Rosa family came to the United States from Italy in 1922. Ralph Rosa opened our family-style Italian restaurant, on December 22, 1927. Encouraged by his mother, Domenica—an Italian chef—Ralph transformed his family home into The Rosa Restaurant. The Rosa is the oldest running restaurant in Portsmouth NH.
After just over a decade of learning and exploring the West, we are excited to establish our first-generation ranch and carry on the Rosa legacy. We look forward to sharing our passion for ranching and quality community care. Join us on this journey as we continue to grow and thrive in our new home, Butte County California!
